What is OEE really?
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is the gold standard for your manufacturing productivity. It is calculated from Availability (Is the machine running?), Performance (Is it running as fast as it should?), and Quality (Are the parts okay?).
Why classic approaches often fail (The Trap)
Many companies try to increase OEE through pressure or complex large-scale projects. The problem is often in the details: Long downtimes occur because the knowledge to solve them is missing.
