Reactive Maintenance

A maintenance strategy where intervention occurs only after a fault or failure has already occurred ("Run-to-Failure").

Although often frowned upon, reactive maintenance is often the most economical strategy for non-critical components (e.g., light bulbs). The problem arises when it is involuntarily applied to critical systems.

Even in the event of a crash, ADAM helps: By quickly identifying the fault and immediately finding replacement parts (via Hybrid Search), ADAM drastically reduces the "Mean Time To Repair" (MTTR), making the reactive failure less costly.
