Shadow IT
IT systems, software, or processes (e.g., Excel lists, WhatsApp groups) used by departments without the knowledge of central IT.
Shadow IT often arises out of necessity because official systems (like SAP) are too complicated or slow. It poses security risks and creates data silos that can be lost during personnel changes.
ADAM eliminates the reason for shadow IT. Since ADAM is as easy to use as WhatsApp, employees voluntarily use the official platform. Additionally, ADAM offers a controlled environment with the "Flow Studio," where departments can build their own processes (no-code) without compromising IT security.
