No-Code (Industrial)

A development approach that enables domain experts (e.g., maintenance personnel) to create digital applications, workflows, and checklists via drag-and-drop without having to write a single line of code. It is the democratization of digitalization.

What does No-Code mean in the industry?

In the past, an IT ticket had to be opened for every new checklist, form, or process. The result: long waiting times and high costs for external consultants. No-Code breaks this monopoly. It transforms domain experts (maintenance personnel, supervisors) into so-called Citizen Developers. They understand the process best – and can now digitally map it themselves.

Why maintenance personnel need No-Code

The reality in the plants is dynamic. A static software corset does not work.

  • Speed: A new safety regulation comes in? The supervisor adapts the checklist himself in 10 minutes.
  • Acceptance: Applications built by colleagues for colleagues are preferred over tools from the "green table."
  • Relief for IT: The IT department only provides the platform (governance), the content is built by the specialist departments.

The "Flow Studio" in ADAM

Hahn PRO integrates a powerful No-Code engine directly into the ADAM platform with the Flow Studio. We rely on visual drag-and-drop:

  • Trigger: "If temperature sensor > 50°C..."
  • Action: "...then send email to supervisor AND create ticket in SAP." This way, complex logics become understandable for everyone and the department becomes agile and independent.
